08.18.2022 Release Notes: Award Management

Updates to Award Management have been summarized below. Additionally, the Award Management, Competitive Award Management, and Grant Management User Guides and the Awards Import Template have been updated.

Updates

Fund Activity Categories can now be added to awards. If an award is created from a fund or opportunity, it will inherit the fund's or opportunity's categories by default.
Departments can now be added to awards. If an award is created from a fund or opportunity, it will inherit the fund's or opportunity's departments by default. Department Admin can create, view, edit, and delete all awards in their department. Department Users can view all awards in their department.
Subjects can now be added to awards. If an award is created from a fund or opportunity, it will inherit the fund's or opportunity's subjects by default.
Fund Activity Categories, Departments, and Subjects can now be imported with the Award Import Template

Fund Activity Categories, Departments, and Subjects can now be included in custom reports.

Categories has been renamed Fund Activity Categories, for clarity.
Departments can now be added to funds. Department Admin can create, view, edit, and delete all funds in their department. Department Users can view all funds in their department.
Subjects can now be added to funds.

Fund Activity Categories can now be added to opportunities. If opportunity is created from a grant or fund, it will inherit the grant's or fund's categories by default.
Departments can now be added to fund opportunities and can be viewed on grant opportunities. If an opportunity is created from a fund, it will inherit the fund's departments by default. Department Admin can create, view, edit, and delete all fund opportunities in their department. Department Users can view all fund opportunities in their department.

Department Admin can now run the following reports: Opportunity Funding Report, Opportunity Scoring Report, Sub-Award Funding Report, Recipient Expense Detail Reports, Recipient Grant Budget Variance Report, Sub-Recipient Expense Detail Reports, and Sub-Recipient Grant Budget Variance Report
