Narrative goals are question and answer goals. Responsible Individuals may answer the question posed by the goal. An example of a narrative goal is “How successful was the grant-related activity this period?”
- Open Award Management>Awards.
- Click the (View Award icon) next to a lead recipient name.
- Open the Post-Award tab>Performance>Performance Plan.
- Click the (Create icon) in the Icon Bar.
- In the pop-up window, select a Strategy (optional). This will link the goal to an existing strategy.
- In the Goal Type dropdown, select Narrative.
- Add the goal Name.
- Add the goal Description (optional).
- Select the Responsible Individual. This list pulls from the recipient's Contacts>Staff. The Responsible Individual can add achievements to the goal and is assigned system-generated tasks related to the goal.
- Add the Question that the goal will answer.
- Click Create.
