Our latest product feature update will be released at the end of March. This update will impact the Grant and Award Details pages, the Post-Award tab menu, Payment Requests, Payment Authorizations, Cash Receipts, and the Expenses page. Below is a breakdown of the changes you can expect to see in your account. There will be live trainings on these updates available on March 27 and 28. Please register to save your seat.
Grant and Award Details Page
The Details page for grants and awards will include new fields that will automatically update over the life of the grant or award. These fields will reflect any changes to payments requested, authorized, made, or received; match contributions; and remaining award, match, and budget balances.
In addition, the grant and award Settings, task Reminders, and Risk Configuration sections will be moved to separate pages under the Post-Award tab>Settings.
The Post-Award tab will be reorganized into the following sub-menus.
- Financial: Budget and Expenses
- Performance: Performance Plan and Strategies
- Cash Flow: Payment Requests, Payment Authorizations (for funder clients), and Cash Receipts
- Management: Tracking Periods, Reporting Periods, Amendments, Grant Opportunities, and Sub-Awards
- Settings: Grant Settings, Budget Settings, Performance Plan Settings (for awards), Reminders, and Risk Configuration
The payment request type (reimbursement or cash advance) will be able to be changed per payment request. This option is currently on the grant or award only. If rejected by the funder, payment requests will be able to be edited and then resubmitted, instead of having to create a new payment request. All of the payment request history, including date, user, and action taken, will be captured on the payment request for the funder and recipient to view. The new grant or award detail fields will also be available on the payment request for quick reference. As payment requests are submitted, the grant/award Details page will update to reflect match and submitted, approved, and outstanding payment request totals.
Funder clients will be able to link payment authorizations to approved payment requests, and will be able to quickly create payment authorizations directly from the payment request record. Standalone payment authorizations can still be created. Once created, the award Details page will update to reflect the total of payments sent to the recipient.
Grantees and sub-recipients will be able to link cash receipts to approved payment requests, and will be able to quickly create cash receipts directly from the payment request record. Standalone cash receipts can still be created. Once created, the grant Details page will update to reflect the total of payments received and still outstanding.
The Expenses page in Activity will be updated. The column options will be available under Actions with a new Column Visibility icon.
